浙江大学茶学系陈萍副教授受邀前往瑞士西部瓦莱州应用科学与艺术大学(HES-SO,UniversityofAppliedSciencesandArtsWesternSwitzerlandValais)，参加法语学术会议，并以法语讲学，传播中华茶文化和茶科学。
会议以“茶叶/葡萄酒/巧克力/咖啡饮食多酚论坛”(Lespolyphénolsdanslethé,vin,chocolatetcafé)为主题，邀请了欧美不同法语区的专家与学者，就不同饮食多酚的摄取、饮食多酚对人体健康的保护作用等，进行了专题演讲。同时，针对茶叶、葡萄酒、巧克力、咖啡等方面专业品评，不同领域的审评专家也展开了科普教学课程。
结束了一整天的学术讨论和审评学习之后，陈老师与西方葡萄酒、咖啡专家们一同来到位于小城谢埃尔的一座具有一千多年历史的古城堡。这里，瑞士的茶叶爱好者们正在等侯聆听来自中国的茶叶的声音。瑞中友好协会、瑞士葡萄酒博物馆的许多瑞士朋友，也参加了古堡里的茶事活动。
陈萍老师早前在法国留学多年，以法语完成博士学位学习和博士后工作。在担任浙大茶学系教师以来，主要进行茶叶审评教学和茶叶药理功能研究。这次受邀讲学，正是以“中国茶”(ThéduChine)为题，以茶文化起源、茶叶保健和药理机制等内容为主体授课，讲学内容语言生动，图片丰富，交流热烈。随后，由陈萍老师领衔组织，由茶学系留学瑞士交换博士生邵淑宏、瑞士锡永AUX5T茶馆主人，以及上海初茶道iTEA共同进行的事茶活动，将整个城堡的茶事氛围点燃。随着陈老师的法语讲解，一场乌龙茶艺、绿茶红茶黑茶冲泡技艺的表演依次展开，事茶活动进入高潮。
此行除了会议和讲学之外，也完成了与瑞士HES-SO大学合作项目的推进。刚刚在浙大茶学系完成毕业实践的瑞士学生Sophie在归国答辩中取得了“优异”的好成绩，为今后两校学生半年学习交流项目的进行奠定了良好的基础。相信瑞中两国两所大学在学术领域的国际交流与合作中，也必将逐步完善，取得更大的成功。

Onthe28thNovember2014,Dr.ChenPing,associateprofessorofTeaScienceDepartment,wasinvitedtoUniversityofAppliedSciencesandArtsWesternSwitzerlandValais(HES-SO)inSwitzerland,toattendafrenchacademicconferenceandgivefrenchlecturesonchineseteacultureandteascience.
Theconferencewasonaforumof"Dietpolyphenolsfromtea/wine/chocolate/coffee"(Lespolyphénolsdanslethé,vin,chocolatetcafé).Frenchspeakingexpertsandscholarswereinvitedfromdifferentcountries,especiallyfromEuropeandAmerica,whojoinedtogethertocommunicateondietaryintakeofpolyphenols,beneficialeffectsofdietarypolyphenolsonhumanhealth,etc.Meanwhile,differentsensoryevaluationclassliketea,wine,andchocolatetastingweregiventopeople,withprofessionalevaluationknowledge.
Afterawholedayofscientificdiscussionandacademicactivities,Dr.ChenwenttoSierrewithotherwesternwineandcoffeeexpertstoanancientcastle,whosehistorycouldbedatedbacktomorethanthousandyearsago.Here,SwisstealoverswerewaitingtolistentoDr.Chen’slecture.SeveraloldfriendsfromSwiss-ChinaFriendshipAssociationandtheSwissWineMuseumalsocamefromfarawaytoparticipateinthecastleforthechineseteaactivities.
Dr.ChenPingearlierhasbeenpassedyearsinFranceforherdoctordegreeandapost-doctoralwork.SinceworkinginZhejiangUniversity,shemainlydoesresearchonteasensoryevaluationandpharmacologicalfunctionofteacomponents.Thistime,shewasinvitedtogiveaspeechon"ChineseTea"(ThéduChine)withteaorigin,teaculture,teatasting,andpharmacologicalmechanismsoftea.Thelecturewaswarmlywelcomedwithlivelydiscussion.Afterthat,teatastetimewasorganizedinthecastlewithoolongteaceremonyandgreentea,blacktea,darkteasensoryevaluation.Suchantastingactivitywasledbythreeteamasters:TrinhfromAUX5TofSwitzerland;ShaoShuhongfromTeaScienceDepartment,whostaysinHES-SOforherexchangeexperiments;LiPingfromiTEAofShanghai.AlongwithFrenchexplanationguidebyDr.Chen,teatimeincastlewasbroughtintoalovelyatmosphere.
Inadditiontotheconferenceandlecture,Dr.ChenhasalsomadesomeadvanceforthecooperativeprojectsbetweenSwissHES-SOandZhejiangUniversity.Afurthercollaborativeresearchwillbedonewithasixmonthsstudentexchangeandfundingsupports.
